According to the United States Census Bureau, this city has a population of approximately 12,902. The residents of this city are referred to as \u2018Lyndenites\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>History<\/p>\n<p>Lynden was established in 1874 by Holden and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Phoebe_Judson\">Phoebe Judson<\/a>. Phoebe Judson named the city after the riverside town in Hohenlinden. Out of this, 5.17 square miles is covered by land while 0.01 square miles is covered by water.
