Fall City is one of the cities present in King County, Washington, United States. The location of this place is about forty kilometers from the east side of Seattle. River Snoqualmie lies near this beautiful city. According to the census of 2010, the population of this place was 1,993.

History 

Two famous forts built in the year 1856 were the most renowned establishments here during the Puget Sound War. The primary purpose of making them was to protect future settlers against an inevitable uprising by the local population, which was present there. A historical marker can be found north of Fall City on the Fish Hatchery Road, where Fort Tilton once stood. A trading post was established near the present-day location of the Last Frontier Saloon in 1869 and became a hub of the local economy.

Fall City is located in central King County 47°33′59″N 121°53′42″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Fall City CDP has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.4 km2), of which 0.04 square miles (0.11 km2), or 1.52%, are water. Fall City sits at the confluence of the Snoqualmie River and the Raging River and is sometimes subject to flooding during the autumn and winter months. More typical is a strong east wind as pressure gradients carry higher pressure air across Snoqualmie Pass and down the Snoqualmie Valley.
