History

The revival of Muskegon is the consequence of satisfying the requirements of citizens and businesses. The creation of robust neighborhood groups and cooperative projects has resulted from proactive government measures. Activities and Culture

The Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, located in the Manistee National Forest, is located in Muskegon. The city is home to one of the first chapters of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Muskegon Summer Celebration includes the Muskegon Art Fair, Village Craft Market, carnival attractions, and a street fair, as well as a range of popular singers. The Rock the Coast and Michigan Irish Music Festivals are two notable events. The city hosts the International Buster Keaton Society’s annual congress. The “Party in the Park” takes place in Hackley Park during the summer.

Tourists like taking cruises on the lakes. Michigan’s Adventure is known as the state’s largest amusement park. Popular locations include P.J. Hoffmaster State Park and Pere Marquette Beach. Duck Lake is a well-known spot.
