Belle Center Ohio is a village located in Logan County in the State of Ohio. It was named so due to its position between the cities of Kenton and Bellefontaine. The area where the city is located had at some point been swampland, but upon the arrival of the settlers in the 1840s, it was platted. The Ohio General Assembly later incorporated it in 1849. It, grew and many businesses rose up including blacksmith’s shops, hotels, restaurants, markets, garages, doctor’s office and an Opera house.

The transportation of the town is mostly on land and is served by both rail and road, with the main highways being the State Route 273 and State Route 638. The cities close proximity to the James Cox Dayton International airport also boosts transportation. These, among other state roads serve the 813 residents of the town, 232 families and 322 family units. In its first census, it was only occupied by 153 people but the figures continue to grow every day. The average density is 492.9 people per square mile including Whites, African Americans, Native Americans, Asians and Latinos among others. The median age of the residents is 37.2 years with 26.6 being people under the age of 18.

The village boasts to be the home of the Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania Henry Wilson Temple.
