History:
The city of Caldwell was established in 1883. The Idaho and Oregon Land Improvement Company founded this city. In 1891, the College of Idaho was opened in this city. In 1906, the Caldwell Train Depot was constructed for passenger and freight trains. In 1910, Caldwell High School was founded in this city which was re-established in 1956.
