Duluth, a major port city in the U.S. state of Minnesota is the county seat of Saint Louis County. With a population of 85,884, it is the 4th largest city in Minnesota and the 2nd largest city on Lake Superior after Thunder Bay, Ontario. Duluth is strategically placed. Located on the north shore of Lake Superior at the westernmost point of the Great Lakes, it has access to ocean-going vessels from the Atlantic Ocean 3,700 km away via the Great Lakes Waterway and the Saint Lawrence Seaway.
During the 20th century, Duluth became the busiest port in the United States, crossing even New York City in gross tonnage. Iron ore from the area was shipped to processing plants in Illinois and Ohio through the Great Lakes. Six banks opened offices in the early part of the century in Duluth, ten newspapers ran their editions here and the 11-story skyscraper, the Torrey Building was constructed. At one point in 1905, Duluth was home to the most millionaires per capita in the United States.

On top of the list is the newest family entertainment addition, the Adventure Zone of Canal Park spread over 50,000 square feet.
