The city of Nashville is a lovely small town located in the state of North Carolina, in Nash County. This city was founded back in 1870 and has a population estimated to be 5,460 as of 2015. Nashville is the seat of Nash County and is a major part of the Rocky Mount, North Carolina Metropolitan Area. There is a rare collection of Queen Anne and Victorian style homes that give Nashville a unique identity. Nashville North Carolina are part of the settings for the movie “Guns of the South”. This is a movie based on a 1992 alternate history novel written by Harry Turtledove.

Nashville North Carolina (27856-1719) holds a popular festival each year, known as the blooming festival. This festival is one of the major events of this town and is organized by the town’s Chamber of Commerce. It is held in May, often around Mother’s Day Weekend and a preceding carnival a couple of days earlier. During the festival, local musicians perform outdoors to the hundreds of spectators and tourists. The arts community within the town holds exhibitions during the festival and helps oversee the event.
