Otis Orchards, WA 99027 is a census-designated place (CDP) in Spokane County, Washington, United States. It is located near the county’s border with the state of Idaho. The CDP includes the unincorporated communities of Otis Orchards and East Farms with the former having the major portion of businesses of the community. Other CDPs in Spokane County are Country Homes, Fairchild AFB, Four Lakes, Green Bluff, and more.
Otis Orchards-East Farms lies west of Rathdrum, Idaho and Stateline, Idaho and north of the Spokane River from Liberty Lake, Washington. On the east is the Spokane River valley in the Spokane, Washington metro area. Recently, a part of Otis Orchards was incorporated into the new city of Spokane Valley.
As per the 2010 census, Otis Orchards is a small community of 6,318 people, 2,110 households, and 1,742 families. The racial mix is predominantly White at 95.11%, followed by 1.22% Native American, 1.16% Asian, and the rest African American, and Pacific Islander.
The Spokane River Recreation area in Otis Orchards is one of the prime tourist attractions of the place. It is located on the outskirts of the city and is an ideal place to get away for a day.
