Wentzville Missouri is located in St Charles County and has a population of 29,070 as of the 2010 census. Wentzville is made up of a total area of 19.98 square miles, and a diverse racial makeup consisting of 89.9% Whites, 6.0% African American, with a mix of Native American, Asian, Hispanic or Latino making up the remaining population. Wentzville was originally laid out in 1855, and was named after the chief engineer of the Northern Missouri Railroad—Erasmus Livingston Wentz.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the first memorial of its kind is located in Wentzville. The city’s parks and recreation department organizes various events for the young and old. In addition, the St Charles County Family Arena regularly hosts events. Residents have a lot of choices in terms of recreation and enrichment. For the musically minded, there is always some great music to catch at the St Louis Symphony at Powell Symphony Hall. Augusta, with its beautiful vineyards, is a 20-minute drive away.
