Nadaburg was the first name of Wittmann, which was the combination of two words, “Nada”, which is a Spanish word and means “nothing” and the “burg”, a German word which means “town”. Later the townwas named as Wittmann on the name of Mr. Wittmann, who misleadingly promised to build a dam near the town which would benefit it.
