Mountlake Terrace is a city located in the state of Washington, United States. It is home to the Mountlake Terrace High School, which is the Edmonds School District’s third largest public high school.
The city of Mountlake Terrace was incorporated in 1954. Before the foundation of this city, it was a thickly forested area which was acquired by the Puget Mill Co. in 1862. The name of the city was given by the developer Albert L. LaPierre along with his partner Jack Peterson who bought this land after the World War II. In 1961, a City Hall was built and in 2006, a new Fire Station was established in the city.
