Sultan is a city that is situated in Snohomish County, Washington. This city is located where the Sultan River flows into the Skykomish. As at 2010, this beautiful city had a population of approximately 4651 people according to the United States Census Bureau.
Settlements to the now known Sultan city began as early as 1880. A Snohomish sub-tribe occupied the area specifically on the Skykomish River in the 1870’s. For a long time, the area remained a small community until June 28, 1905 when the city was incorporated.
